CodeSWVA Aims to Bridge the Gap Between Southwest Virginia and the Rest of the State in Support Systems for High Schoolers Pursuing Computer Science. We Provide Accessible Resources, Foster Collaboration, and Nurture a Thriving Ecosystem for Everything Computer Science. By Empowering Fellow Students Like Me, We Seek to Position Students in the Region an Outlet to Learn and Express Their Knowledge of Computer Science!

Meet the Founder

Ved Karia

As a current freshman at the Georgia Institute of Technology, I have immersed myself into the field of Computer Science by engaging in numerous online hackathons and participating in competitive coding. From these events, I have learned so much of what has helped students like me to flourish, which ultimately led me to create CodeSWVA to help inspire an underrepresented region for computer science and bring them to the national stage.
